In a move sure to silence all the critics who claim Fedor hasn’t fought a true top-ten heavyweight since his battle with Cro Cop, it has been announced that he will finally have the fight the fans have been clamouring for — Hong Man Choi, the 7′2″ goliath with the spotless 1-0 record. The bout will take place for an as-yet unnamed promotion on New Years Eve.
Should Fedor manage to survive this fight alive, One Ounce of News has a few potential fights we might see down the line for the world’s Undisputed Greatest Human Being to Ever Exist, Ever (and if You Say Otherwise, You’re a TUF Noob Faggot)*
Bo Cantrell – Coming off of a disappointing performance against Elite XC’s Kimbo Slice, Cantrell is primed for a bounce-back peformance, and will surely be a tough test test for Emelianenko Fedor.
Verne Troyer – Having taken on the tall (Choi) and the wide (Zuluzinho) the next logical step is for Fedor to take on the short, and we’ like to propose the former Austin Powers star as just the man for the job. If the promoter plays their cards right, it can even be billed as Fedor vs. Mini Fedor.
Shinichi Kojima – It’s been awhile since Fedor has fought a top ranked opponent and so it only seems fitting that he take on a #1 guy, and who better than the Sherdog #1 Ranked Flyweight. By taking on another #1, after his victory over former MMAWeekly #1 Middleweight, Fedor can once again establish himself as the top heavyweight around.
* – One Ounce of News is working on a trademark for that title, so back off. Should make roughly $2,000 on MMA Forum use alone.
